Queen B Luxury Nail and Beauty Lounge is recruiting experienced Nail Technicians in South Croydon for permanent employed roles, with both full-time and part-time positions available. The role focuses on BIAB, gel polish, luxury manicures and pedicures.
We are a premium appointment-only salon with loyal guests, a calm environment and high standards. If you care about nail health, clean preparation and durable results, and you are already very good at what you do, we would like to hear from you.
We do not offer acrylics. We are not looking for nail-bar speed. We are looking for someone who understands that a lasting result is built through structure, not shortcuts.
Why this role
Most nail technician positions in London are self-employed or chair rental. This is not.
This is a permanent employed contract — predictable income, statutory holiday, pension contributions and job security — in a multi award-winning salon celebrating ten years in business and currently a Scratch Stars Awards 2026 finalist for Nail and Beauty Salon of the Year.
We are a standards-led salon, not a high street nail bar. We are hiring experienced Nail Technicians who take nail health, preparation, hygiene and safe removal seriously — and who understand that exceptional guest experience is just as much a part of the role as the technical work.
The role
We specialise in natural nail care with a polished, lasting finish. Guest demand is strong and consistent, supported by active marketing and a loyal returning guest base.
This role suits an experienced nail technician who values quality over speed and understands that durability is built through preparation, structure, careful application and safe removal and the importance of hygiene protocols.
Day to day
- BIAB overlays and infills to a consistently high standard
- Professional manicures and pedicures with safe, considered technique
- Gel polish application and removal without compromising the natural nail
- Correct preparation and structure to protect natural nail integrity throughout
- Clear consultations, including declining unsuitable treatments where necessary
- A calm, professional and consistent guest experience in every appointment
- Correct hygiene standards maintained across tools, equipment and work areas
- Supporting rebooking and upselling through quality, consistency and honest guest education
The standard we expect
- Minimum 2 years’ recent, consistent salon experience
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Beauty Therapy or Nail Services, or OFQUAL recognised equivalent
- Confident in BIAB, gel polish, manicures and pedicures — able to work to Queen B standard from day one
- Strong focus on natural nail integrity and long-term results
- Excellent attention to detail and hygiene standards
- Understanding of foot health and contraindications
- Right to work in the UK
- Availability to work agreed rota patterns

Working pattern
Full-time and part-time roles are available.

What you will get
- £13.00–£15.00 per hour depending on experience
- Full-time earnings potential of £32,000–£40,000+ including hourly pay, commission and tips, depending on hours worked, performance, rebooking and retail results

This role is not suitable for
This role is not suitable for newly qualified technicians, candidates seeking self-employment or room rental, or applicants without an NVQ Level 2/3 or OFQUAL recognised equivalent.
It is also not suitable for technicians who primarily want to work with acrylics, SNS or dipping powder. Queen B is a natural nail salon.
