As our first nursery, Ladybird Children's Nursery - Scotswood, has held a special place in our hearts since it opened in 2004. The nursery is set in a beautiful, state of the art, purpose built nursery on the edge of Newcastle Business Park. Outside, we have two inviting areas filled with inspiring resources to provoke children’s natural curiosity. With provision for 64 children aged 0-5, the nursery offers a wonderful working environment where you would be part of a small, experienced team of professionals. There is easy parking available and the nursery is on the bus route into Newcastle city centre.
As Early Years Deputy Manager of our setting you will be an outstanding and inspiring practitioner. You will have the confidence to lead your team, displaying a high level of motivation, a flexible enthusiastic approach and good communication skills.
You will have the ability to manage a nursery in the manager's absence , which will continue to develop and change in order to meet the needs of the community. You must be able to provide exceptional early years care in a safe, nurturing and fulfilling environment whilst inspiring children to unlock their full potential through key skills and values which will establish them as gifted citizens of the world.
The role of Early Years Deputy Manager is to provide professional leadership, compliance with regulatory requirements and to ensure the setting delivers the highest standards of care and education.

The post is full time 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday working shifts between 7.30-6, all year round and you will be entitled to 5.6 weeks holiday, including Bank Holidays rising with long term service. We offer attractive salaries with flexible interview dates available.
