Position: ISP Planning and Admin (Interim)
Location: Hall Ings, Bradford, BD1 1HX
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 3+ Months
Working Hours: 37 hours per week (9:00-17:00)
Pay Rate: £13.69 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and planning support within the ISP function, ensuring effective coordination of tasks, schedules, and operational activities.
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation relating to service planning, requests, and workflow activity.
- Support the scheduling and allocation of work, ensuring priorities are managed and deadlines are met.
- Act as a first point of contact for administrative queries, providing timely responses and escalation where required.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, performance data, and management information to support decision-making.
- Coordinate communication between teams, ensuring information is accurately recorded and shared.
- Support service processes by processing requests, updating systems, and ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to support smooth operational delivery.
- Assist in monitoring workloads, identifying bottlenecks, and supporting process improvements.
- Ensure all administrative activities comply with council policies, confidentiality, and data protection requirements.
Person Specification:
- Experience in an administrative, planning, or coordination role within a busy office or public sector environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Good attention to detail, particularly when handling data, records, and documentation.
- Proficient in using IT systems, databases, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting service delivery or operational teams is desirable.
- Understanding of data protection, confidentiality, and information governance principles.
- Ability to follow processes accurately and suggest improvements where appropriate.
- Relevant administrative qualification or equivalent practical experience preferred.
