Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: 8AM – 8.30PM / 8PM – 8.30AM (Mon–Sun) Days, Nights & Weekend rotation. Flexibility required.

We’re looking for a compassionate and driven Healthcare Assistant to join our Cardiology Ward at The Wellington Hospital, currently rated ‘Good’ by the CQC and the largest private hospital in the UK.
Our 20‑bed specialist unit cares for a broad and complex case mix, with the majority of patients admitted for Cardiac Surgery and Cardiology, alongside Hepatobiliary surgical cases and a smaller cohort of Neurosurgical and other specialist medical/surgical patients.
As part of one of the UK’s most advanced private cardiac services, you’ll be joining a team that delivers high‑quality, evidence‑based care to patients undergoing major cardiac and surgical interventions. You’ll work closely with nurses, cardiologists, surgeons, and the wider multidisciplinary team to support patients throughout their recovery and ensure a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment.
This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about patient care. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the nursing team, assisting with day‑to‑day patient care, and helping to maintain the high standards of care that HCA UK is known for.
