We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with recipes and quality standards
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high performance
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Organise and manage inventory, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor kitchen operations to optimise efficiency and minimise waste
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Requirements
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within hospitality or restaurant settings
- Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food production techniques and culinary trends
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to inspire confidence among team members
- Experience in restaurant operations, including serving and customer service excellence
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations within a kitchen setting
- Previous experience in hospitality or culinary roles is highly desirable
