Salary: up to £85,000 (depending on experience)
Locations: East London, Essex & Hertfordshire (Hybrid working available)
Are you an experienced Bid Writer or Bid Manager or Senior with a background in Social Housing refurbishment, planned works or retrofit projects?

Bid Writer & Manager Roles:
You will play a key role in the production and management of high-quality bids and tender submissions across a range of Social Housing refurbishment and property services contracts.
Projects include:
- Planned Maintenance
- Decent Homes
- Retrofit & Decarbonisation
- Kitchen & Bathroom Programmes
- External Refurbishment
- Responsive Repairs
- Electrical & Compliance
Working closely with operational, commercial and pre-construction teams, you will help develop compelling, high-scoring submissions that support continued business growth.
Responsibilities
- Managing and coordinating tender submissions from start to completion
- Writing engaging and high-quality bid responses
- Reviewing tender documents and identifying key deliverables
- Liaising with internal departments to gather technical information
- Ensuring submissions are completed within deadlines
- Supporting continuous improvement across bid processes and content libraries
- Leading submissions and presentations (Bid Manager level)
Requirements
- Previous experience within a Bid Writer or Bid Manager role
- Experience within Social Housing, Refurbishment, Planned Works or Retrofit sectors
- Strong written and communication skills
- Experience managing public sector tenders, PQQs, SQs and ITTs
- Ability to work within fast-paced bid environments
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
