We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Chiswick.
The successful candidate will work closely with students with Special Educational Needs, providing tailored support to help them access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
- Assist students with Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech & Language needs, and other additional needs
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and interventions
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Relevant qualifications or experience within education are desirable
