Sutherland Day Nursery are looking for a new Apprentice. You will be studying toward your Early Years Educator apprenticeship L3.
We are looking for an apprentice who wishes to get qualified 'on the job' within our nursery's supportive and caring environment. A suitable candidate will manifest passion, dedication to the role and a high level of written and spoken English. A requirement of a minimum of 1 year experience of working within a UK nursery and general knowledge of EYFS.
We also run forest school type activities which might appeal to a person appreciative of nature and its impact on the development of little minds and hearts.
Your role will include;
- apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver engaging activities which support all areas of learning and development
- ensure safeguarding, health, and safety policies and procedures are always adhered to
- work collaboratively as part of a team to create a positive, supportive, and professional working environment
- meet the individual needs of children, including personal care (e.g. nappy changing, supporting mealtimes), as well as supporting emotional regulation and positive social interactions
- maintain a welcoming, clean, well-organised, and stimulating environment which promotes children’s engagement and wellbeing
- contribute to the planning, implementation and evaluation of activities, assessing their impact to support continuous improvement in learning outcomes.
Shift Pattern: 40 Hours Per Week Monday-Friday (Shifts Range Between 08:00-18:00)
Pay: £16,640.00 per month
