We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (Category CE) drivers to join our team.
Container work only – no tramping positions available.
The Role
- Driving HGV Class 1 container vehicles
- Collection and delivery of containers to ports and customer sites
- Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager
- Supported by a fully manned transport office and out-of-hours cover
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category CE) licence
- Minimum 1 year Class 1 experience
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Container experience preferred but not essential, we can provide training
- Professional attitude and good communication skills
Responsibilities
- Operate vehicles safely and in line with road and tachograph regulations
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately
- Communicate effectively with transport and customers
- Provide a professional service at all times
