We are looking for an experienced and hands‑on Forklift Supervisor to oversee all yard operations, including the safe loading and unloading of deliveries. You will lead a team of forklift drivers, maintain high safety standards, and ensure the yard runs efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support forklift drivers working in the yard area
- Oversee all loading and unloading of vehicles and deliveries
- Coordinate daily yard tasks to maintain smooth, efficient operations
- Carry out and enforce safety checks and safe working practices
- Ensure the yard remains clean, organised, and hazard‑free
- Provide training, guidance, and performance support where needed
- Complete basic paperwork, delivery records, and incident reporting
Requirements
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Previous experience driving a forklift
- Confident working outdoors in a busy yard environment
- A hands‑on, safety‑focused approach
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
