We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Private Client Solicitor to join this very reputable multi-office law firm and work from their Virginia Water, Surrey office. This is a 3-4 days per week role.
You will be experienced in advising on matters such as estate planning, wills, trusts, probate, and succession. You ideally will have 2 years + PQE with no upper limit.
Responsibilities
- Drafting and reviewing wills, trusts, and estate planning documents with precision and attention to detail.
- Advising clients on inheritance tax planning and wealth management strategies.
- Managing probate applications and estate administration processes efficiently.
- Negotiating terms of trusts, settlements, and other legal arrangements to meet client objectives.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are fully understood and addressed.
- Keeping abreast of changes in legislation relevant to private client law and ensuring compliance across all services provided.
- Collaborating with colleagues across departments to deliver comprehensive legal advice tailored to individual client circumstances.
Experience
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience specialising in private client law within a recognised legal practice.
- Proven expertise in drafting wills, trusts, and estate planning documents.
- Demonstrable experience in managing probate processes from inception to completion.
