Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Window Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in timber box sash windows, casements, French doors, front doors and many other aspects of joinery installation. As a Window Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of windows in residential and commercial properties, ensuring that all installations meet quality standards and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install windows according to specifications and building codes
- Measure and cut materials to ensure proper fit
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete installations
- Perform necessary adjustments and repairs to ensure proper functionality
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints for installation requirements
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding project progress and any issues that may arise
Qualifications
- FULL driving uk license
- Proven experience with window installation
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Bench joinery skills would be helpful
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform manual labour for extended periods
