Excel Life Solutions provides online education programs for adults across a number of international markets. We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to join our remote team. This role is suited to professionals who enjoy building relationships, communicating with people and working independently.
About the Role
Whether you've built your career in hospitality, restaurants, hotels, tourism, events or customer service, you've likely developed valuable communication and relationship-building skills that transfer well into business development. Professionals with experience in sales, account management, consulting and other client-facing industries are also encouraged to apply. Working remotely, you'll speak with prospective clients, discuss our online education programs and guide suitable individuals through a structured sales process.
Key Responsibilities
· Contact prospective clients by phone and video.
· Discuss online education programs and respond to enquiries.
· Understand client needs and recommend suitable education programs.
· Maintain accurate client records using company-provided systems.
· Manage scheduled follow-up communications.
· Participate in product and role-specific training.
· Work independently while collaborating with the remote team.
Skills & Experience
· Minimum five years' experience in a customer-facing role.
· Background in hospitality, tourism, hotels, restaurants, customer service, sales, consulting, account management or another relationship-focused profession.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Confidence speaking with people by phone and video.
· Strong organisational and time-management skills.
· Ability to work independently.
· Confidence using digital communication tools.
· Previous sales experience is beneficial but not essential.

Compensation
This role uses a performance-based compensation model. There is no guaranteed base salary or hourly wage. Full details of the compensation structure will be discussed during the recruitment process.
