Job Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for dedicated and experienced Complex Support Workers to join our compassionate team at Yorkshire Community Care, supporting our client in South of Manchester area. Our client has aquired brain injury and would need a 2-1 support in his own home.
Client suffered the following injuries:
Significant brain injury, skull fracture. he had evacuation of subdural collection. he also had a VP shunt inserted.
You must have experience in forensic psychology and mental health experince for at least 6 months.
This is a full time role of 36 hours per week
shift patterns are : Early shift 7am - 3pm , Late shift 3pm - 11pm and N ight 11pm -7am.

Duties
- Deliver personalised, high-quality care and support tailored to the client’s individual needs.
- Assist with daily living activities including personal hygiene, mobility and meal preparation.
- Administer medication and monitor health and wellbeing, responding appropriately to any changes.
- Support community access, accompanying the client on outings, ensuring accessibility and safety.
- Provide emotional support, encouragement and companionship.
- Maintain accurate records of all care provided and report any concerns promptly.
- Work collaboratively with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
What We’re Looking For
- Full time 36 hours per week and must be able to work days and nights
- You must have experience in forensic psychology and mental health experince for at least 6 months.
- Experience with Mental health, Acquired brain injury, PEG feeding, and seizure management is highly desirable (training can be provided).
- Must have a Full UK driving license and able to drive WAV
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Energetic, positive, and empathetic personality.
- Awareness of accessibility needs, including wheelchair-friendly routes, transport and venues.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider care team.
- Someone who can bring warmth, humour and creativity to the role.
