About Walton Lodge
Walton Lodge is a residential service that specializes in Autism. It is located in a nice area of Doncaster. It is a large property with the town centre within 5 miles.
Walton Lodge is across 2 buildings one of which has 14 bedrooms all ensuite, with 6 bedrooms, all en-suite in our other building.
We are now seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader for days and nights to support, guide, and inspire our care teams while ensuring outstanding care for our residents.
The Role
As a Care Team Leader, you will play a key leadership role within the home, overseeing day-to-day care delivery and supporting staff to provide compassionate, high-quality care. You will work closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure care is personalised, safe, and effective.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, support, and motivate care staff across shifts
- Ensure delivery of person-centred care in line with individual care plans
- Lead the development and review of care plans with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor care quality and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Organise staff rotas and maintain safe staffing levels
- Mentor and support staff development and training
- Complete care documentation, reports, and records using IT systems
- Promote effective communication with families and professionals
- Drive improvements in resident experience and operational efficiency
- Support residents with mobility and community access, including driving where required
What We’re Looking For
- Previous supervisory experience in a care home or senior care setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience creating and implementing personalised care plans
- Good understanding of adult social care regulations
- Confident using IT systems for care documentation
- Compassionate, organised, and able to work well under pressure
- Driving licence desirable (required for resident support when needed)
- Experience supporting complex needs, including:
- Mental Health conditions
- Learning Disabilities
- Behaviours of distress
- Personal care, medication, moving & handling
