Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated Brunch Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of brunch dishes, ensuring quality and presentation meet brand standards
- Supervise kitchen staff during service, providing guidance and support to maintain efficiency
- Manage food production processes, including ingredient preparation, portioning, and plating
- Oversee food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality and serving customers when required
- Assist in training new team members in food preparation, safety procedures, and service standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in a culinary or restaurant setting, with strong cooking skills and kitchen experience
- Supervising experience or team management skills are highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times
- Passion for hospitality, culinary innovation, and delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Previous experience in serving or front-of-house roles is advantageous but not essential
- A proactive attitude with excellent communication skills and attention to detail
