Job Description
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design and development of pneumatic conveying systems. You will work closely with our engineering team to create innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, proficiency in 3D modelling, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop pneumatic conveying systems and components using 3D CAD software.
- Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, sales, and manufacturing to ensure designs meet customer requirements and industry standards.
- Perform engineering calculations and analyses to ensure the integrity and functionality of designs.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical support during the manufacturing and installation phases.
- Conduct research and development to improve existing products and develop new solutions.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications and Skills
- A Bachelor's/ Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in 3D modelling software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor).
- Knowledge of pneumatic conveying systems and related technologies is an advantage
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Pay: £27,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
