Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Cover to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring that physical education classes run smoothly in the absence of the regular instructor. The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting physical fitness and sportsmanship among students, while also fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
Duties
- Deliver engaging and structured physical education lessons according to the provided curriculum.
- Supervise students during activities, ensuring safety and adherence to rules.
- Encourage student participation and foster a positive attitude towards physical fitness.
- Adapt lessons to meet the varying skill levels and needs of students.
- Maintain an organized and safe environment for all physical activities.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding student progress and behavior.
- Assist in the preparation of equipment and facilities for classes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in teaching or coaching physical education is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of physical fitness principles and sportsmanship.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage students.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- A commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
