New Opportunity - Injection Moulding Setter
Hours: Monday to Friday Only - Rotating Shifts
Days / Afternoons / Nights Rotation
Pay: £14.85 per hour + Overtime
Our client, a leading UK manufacturer, is currently recruiting an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join their expanding team based in Pinxton.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced setter looking for long-term stability, overtime opportunities and career progression within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
As the new Injection Moulding Setter, you will:
- Safely carry out tool changes across a variety of injection moulding machines
- Condition set injection moulding machines from scratch
- Set and operate 3-axis Sepro and Viper robots
- Carry out quality checks and fault finding to ensure machines run efficiently
- Analyse cycle times and product weights to ensure production targets are achieved
- Minimise downtime and maintain optimum machine performance
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the production department
- Promote a positive and safe working environment at all times
- Maintain machinery, plant and work areas to a high housekeeping standard
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operation
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and company procedures at all times
Key Requirements:
- IMT Level 3 qualified or equivalent, or a minimum of 3 years' experience within a similar role
- Previous experience within an injection moulding manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of injection moulding machinery, tooling and processing
- Ability to identify faults and troubleshoot machine/process issues effectively
- Good understanding of quality standards and production targets
- Flexible approach to working rotating shifts
- Excellent attendance, reliability and teamwork skills
- Physical fitness due to handling and changing large tooling and machinery
Desirable Experience:
- Experience working with Billion, Engel, Arburg and Sandretto injection moulding machines
- Experience working with Sepro 3-axis robots
- Experience working with machinery ranging from 60t-1500t
- Willingness to work overtime during busy production periods
