About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and exceptional individual to join our management team. Reporting to the General Manager, you will help champion standards within the business and will have a determination to perform to the best of your ability in what can be a challenging and fast-paced environment. You will be strong in character and already be established in a supervisory role. This is a full-time position which will include unsociable hours and weekend working.
Key Responsibilities
· Undertaking open and close shifts with responsibility for the end of day till close procedures and in securing the building
· Leading specific shifts and managing the team on duty
· Welcoming and engaging with guests, and providing intervention when required in resolving issues and ensuring guest satisfaction
· Coordinating between FOH and BOH to ensure a smooth food service
· Championing and upholding standards as required by the business and regulatory obligations and representing the venue with professionalism
· Delivering training and development, including keeping your own skills updated and industry relevant

Minimum Requirements
· Minimum 2/3 years’ experience within in a gastropub/similar setting
· Knowledge of The Licensing Act 2003 (desirable)
· Numerate and computer literate (Microsoft essential)
· Line clean trained (desirable)
· Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (desirable)
· Right to work in the UK
· Flexible working hours and shift patterns, including weekends (essential)
· Full driving licence / ability to travel to Harby NG23 7EB
