The Pheasant is looking for a hands-on Bar Supervisor to join the team.
We’re a community pub at heart, so we’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys looking after people and making sure every guest has a great night out.
The Role This isn't about managing a rota - it’s about being the face of the pub. You’ll be leading the team on the bar, making sure the atmosphere is spot on, and ensuring our service is always friendly and efficient.
- Lead the bar: Keep the team motivated and the bar running smoothly, co-ordinating the delivery of service to those at the bar, and the restaurant dispense alike.
- The Guest Experience: You’ll be the go-to for our locals and visitors, handling any issues with a smile and making sure everyone feels welcome.
- The Basics: Overseeing openings/closings, keeping the bar stocked, and making sure our health and safety standards are never dropped.
- The Buzz: Helping us run events and promotions to keep the pub busy and the energy high.
Who we’re looking for We need someone with a bit of spark. You should have some experience in a busy pub or restaurant environment and be comfortable leading a team during a rush. Most importantly, you need to be a "people person" - someone who takes pride in great service and attention to detail.
A flexible schedule is a must, as you’ll be covering evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
