Stores Operative / Relief 7.5 Tonne Driver
Location: Hull, HU9
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 6:00am – 2:45pm | Friday, 6:00am – 12:00pm
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Stores Operative to join our client in HU9.
This is primarily a stores-based role, responsible for supporting the smooth running of warehouse and stock operations. In addition, the successful candidate will provide holiday and absence cover for our 7.5 tonne driver when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods
- Picking and preparing orders for dispatch
- Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels
- Ensuring the stores area is organised, clean, and safe
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Providing cover for the 7.5 tonne delivery driver during holidays and other periods of absence
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Valid UK 7.5 tonne (C1) driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or logistics environment
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
