What the Role Involves:
As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our kitchen team and maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment. Your day could include:
- Washing pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment
- Keeping kitchen, storage, and food preparation areas clean and tidy
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks, if needed
- Ensuring waste is disposed of correctly and recycling procedures are followed
- Receiving and storing deliveries safely and efficiently
- Supporting chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods
- Following food hygiene, health and safety, and cleaning procedures at all times
- Helping to ensure all equipment, utensils, and workstations are ready for service
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A reliable team player who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
Additional Details:
- This season position runs until October 2026, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.
- Availability during evenings, weekends, Bank Holidays, and school holiday periods is essential. Please note that applications may not be considered if you require time off during school holidays, due to the operational demands of the role.
- Zero-hour contract, ideal for those looking to balance work with studies, other commitments, or seasonal availability. Shifts are provided based on business needs, with the opportunity to pick up additional hours during busy periods.
