About Us
Located in the heart of the stunning Langdale Valley, the New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel is a family-run, independent hotel with a busy and much-loved walkers’ bar. We pride ourselves on offering a warm, welcoming atmosphere to both locals and visitors exploring the fells.
The Role
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented individual to join our housekeeping team. This is a key role within the hotel, ensuring our bedrooms and public areas are maintained to a high standard for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms to a high standard
- Servicing rooms during guest stays
- Cleaning and maintaining public areas of the hotel
- Changing bed linen and replenishing room amenities
- Reporting maintenance issues where necessary
- Working efficiently to meet daily room targets
What We’re Looking For
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is essential
- A strong eye for detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and reliability
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and bank holidays
