We're looking for an inspiring Quality & People Manager to join our growing nursery group. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on supporting others, driving continuous improvement, and helping nurseries achieve exceptional outcomes for children, families, and staff.
Working closely with our Operations Manager and Nursery Managers, you'll play a pivotal role in raising standards, supporting leadership teams, strengthening recruitment and retention, and ensuring every nursery consistently delivers outstanding care and education.

What You'll Be Doing
Quality & Compliance
Conduct quality assurance visits and audits across all nursery settings.
Support Nursery Managers in preparing for Ofsted inspections.
Drive continuous improvement plans and monitor progress.
Ensure compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, health & safety, and internal policies.
Review documentation, risk assessments, and operational procedures.
Analyse quality indicators, occupancy, and parent feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
Share best practice across the nursery group.
Leadership & Manager Support
Coach and mentor Nursery Managers and Deputy Managers.
Support leadership development and succession planning.
Promote consistency and high standards across all settings.
Provide guidance on operational challenges and professional decision-making.
People & Culture
Champion a positive, values-led culture where everyone feels supported and valued.
Lead initiatives that improve staff wellbeing, engagement, and retention.
Promote recognition and reward programmes.
Support managers with employee relations and workplace challenges.
Help build a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous learning.
Recruitment & Onboarding
Lead recruitment across the nursery group.
Ensure safer recruitment processes are followed.
Coordinate interviews and support manager recruitment.
Oversee induction and onboarding for new team members.
Develop strategies to attract and retain exceptional Early Years professionals.
Training & Development
Identify organisational training needs.
Coordinate mandatory and professional development training.
Support career progression and leadership pathways.
Ensure qualifications and training records remain compliant.
Performance Management
Support managers with supervision, probation, appraisals, and performance reviews.
Assist with absence management and capability processes.
Promote consistent application of policies and procedures.
Safeguarding
Promote a strong safeguarding culture across all nurseries.
Support safeguarding investigations where required.
Work alongside Designated Safeguarding Leads to ensure statutory compliance.
Parent & Community Engagement
Support nurseries in delivering outstanding parent partnerships.
Review parent feedback and help implement improvements.
Assist with complaint investigations and resolutions.
Promote our nursery group within local communities.
What We're Looking For
Essential
Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
Significant leadership experience within Early Years.
Excellent knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted and safeguarding requirements.
Experience supporting multiple teams or nursery settings.
Strong coaching, mentoring and communication skills.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between settings.
Desirable
Degree in Early Childhood Studies, Education, HR, Leadership or a related subject.
Experience in quality assurance or multi-site management.
HR or people management experience.
Experience supporting Good or Outstanding Ofsted inspections.
