Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team on a permanent contract. This role will be a minimum 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts, with a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. The chef must have a knowledge of Mediterranean and African dishes including superb control of the grill. As a Chef, you will oversee kitchen operations, ensure food safety standards are met, and lead a team of kitchen staff in creating delicious and visually appealing dishes.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food production.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and trends.
- Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed to maintain stock.
- Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety protocols, and kitchen procedures.
- Ensure the kitchen is clean, organised, and compliant with health regulations.
