Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Team Members to join our vibrant bar and restaurant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service and a memorable drinking and dining experience. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the front of house, from greeting customers and taking orders to serving food and drinks.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all customer requests are met.
- Serve food and drinks in our bars and restaurant.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Support team members in various tasks as required, fostering a cooperative work environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
- A passion for culinary arts and an understanding of food safety practices are advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with both guests and team members.
