Overview
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional service and support. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy office environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette.
- Manage the reception area, keeping it organised and welcoming.
- Perform clerical duties including data entry and maintaining accurate records.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing calendars, doing secretarial work like sending referrals, sending investigations.
- Handle correspondence and communication effectively, both in person and via email.
Experience
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role in NHS is preferred but not essential.
- Proficiency in clerical skills and familiarity with office procedures is required.
- Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
