The purpose of this role is to support the Production and Accessories departments by supervising day-to-day warehouse activity, preparing yarn and accessory stock, maintaining accurate stock control, and carrying out local van deliveries as required. The role requires physical ability to move yarn and cartons around the department and storage areas. It also requires administration abilities to control stock and audit performance. Goods receipt and accuracy of stock are a prerequisite for this role.
Main Duties
· Make local deliveries of yarn, accessories and other stock as required.
· Pick yarns from the warehouse in preparation for weaving production.
· Pick accessories stock as required for production, customer orders or internal use.
· Support stock movement between warehouse, production and accessories areas.
· Assist with goods receipt, stock checks and maintaining accurate stock records.
· Carry out ad hoc warehouse duties appropriate to the role.
· Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, safe and well organised at all times
· Follow Standard Operating Procedures and contribute to improvement activities as needed
· Comply in full with Lone Working policy and agreed processes

Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Good levels of English and Maths
· Forklift License Preferred
· Full clean driving license
