Supervisor / Sandwich Artist

At Between Bread, we’re building an independent sandwich shop focused on quality ingredients, fast-paced service, and a strong visual identity. We’re looking for a reliable, organised Sandwich Artist to take ownership of much of the day-to-day front-of-house production and help lead service standards.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys prep, organisation, customer service, and keeping a team moving during busy periods.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for helping run daily FOH operations, including sandwich prep, service flow, stock organisation, and maintaining standards throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading day-to-day front-of-house production
- Preparing sandwiches and ingredients to spec
- Managing daily prep lists and service readiness
- Supporting and supervising junior staff during shifts
- Maintaining food hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Monitoring stock levels and communicating shortages
- Delivering fast, friendly customer service
- Helping maintain presentation standards across the shop
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a café, sandwich shop, deli, brunch spot, or fast-paced food environment
- Strong organisation and time management
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Calm under pressure during busy services
- High standards for cleanliness and food presentation
- Reliable, punctual, and team-focused
- Previous supervisory experience preferred but not essential for the right person
