Job Profile
Works as part of the structured cabling team to assist the cabling engineer with the installation of a wide range of cable types within various environments (customer premises)
Key Tasks/Responsibilities
- Assists the cabling engineer in the delivery of the structured cabling service
- Assists with the installation, termination and testing of structured cabling within commercial, industrial, marine and offshore environments.
- Assists with testing and commissioning structured cabling installations.
- Performs all duties in a positive and professional manner and assists in the promotion of a productive team environment.
- Maintains personal productivity and quality standards that enable the company to continue to provide an excellent service to our clients.
Qualifications/Skills
- Good communication skills.
- Strong hand skills and the ability to use a wide range of tools.
- A reasonable level of physical fitness, as the work can involve stretching, bending, kneeling and long periods of standing.
- Familiar with Health and Safety requirements.
