Java Architect (Device Identification / SDK / Azure)
Location: London or Leeds (Hybrid)
Type: Contract / Fixed-Term Employment

We’re looking for a Java Architect to design and lead device identification capabilities within a next-generation fraud detection platform.
You’ll define how device signals are captured, processed, and transformed into intelligence, enabling accurate identification across sessions where traditional methods (e.g. cookies) are no longer effective.
Key Responsibilities
- Define architecture for device identification and signal processing systems
- Design scalable backend and data pipelines for high-volume device data
- Architect signal-based identification models across mobile SDKs and browser environments
- Enable tracking of devices, sessions, and identifiers across environments
- Design cloud-native solutions on Azure
- Ensure integration with Mobile SDKs and fraud detection platforms
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience as a Java Architect / Senior Backend Architect
- Expertise in Java and distributed system design
- Proven experience with Azure cloud architecture
- Experience with SDK-based data collection (mobile or browser)
- Strong understanding of device identification / fraud detection systems
- Ability to design systems handling complex identity and behavioural signals
