We a recruiting an enthusiastic Wash Bay and Yard Operative. The individual must have a ‘can do’ attitude in an ever changing fast paced environment, with the ability to work as a valued team member and as an individual.
The ideal candidate will have experience in;
- Washing and valeting plant machinery, including welfare units/ vans
- Organising a busy yard, ensuring all machinery and equipment is stored safely and is secured
- Operating plant machinery within the depot
As this role is physically demanding and you will be required to work outside in all weathers on the the wash bay (appropriate ppe provided) The role will include digging out of excavator tracks,washing the machines and valeting the cabs and may include refuelling them, all candidates will be considered regardless of experience, full training will be provided. Once the candidate is experience within the role, there may be an opportunity for the individual to join our gritting team.
Must have:
- You must have a valid UK driving Licence & the right to work in the UK
