We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Senior Community Care Assistant to join our growing team. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced care professional with leadership skills who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
As a Senior Community Care Assistant, you will support individuals in the community while also guiding and supervising care staff to ensure exceptional care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalised care and support in clients’ homes, including personal care, mobility, and daily living tasks
- Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing for all clients
- Supervise and support care staff, ensuring high standards of care are maintained
- Develop, review, and implement individualised care plans
- Take part in the on call rota
- Monitor clients’ health and wellbeing, reporting concerns appropriately
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records using digital systems
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Support clients with appointments, social activities, and community engagement
- Assist with the training and mentoring of new staff members
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in community care or domiciliary care
- Confident in a supervisory or senior care role
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed to high-quality care
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Skilled in communication with clients, families, and professionals
- Knowledgeable in care planning and person-centred care approaches
- IT literate, with experience maintaining accurate care documentation
Desirable:
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
