Responsibilities
- Assist with daily personal care routines, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment
- Support with medication reminders and basic health monitoring under supervision
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Assist with light domestic tasks within the care environment or home setting
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including infection control measures
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving home visits
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, for effective communication
- Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and updating care plans
- Excellent communication skills, empathetic nature, and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work shifts as required; some roles may involve early mornings or evenings depending on client needs
