Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Refuse Loader to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Collect rubbish and recycling from homes or businesses.
- Use a lifting mechanism to empty waste into the bin lorry.
- Operate a waste compactor to crush loads.
- Sort recycling boxes at the kerbside.
- Help unload waste at landfill sites or recycling facilities.
Experience
- Previous experience in a loading or warehouse role is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required, with a focus on safety practices.
- Ability to walk up to 10km a day.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork is essential.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
Hours and Pay:
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Tues - Friday, 6:45am - 4:30pm
