Job Overview
We are looking for a Skilled Gardener to join our team and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the beauty of the prestigious gardens and outdoor spaces we care for. You’ll work across a variety of private and commercial sites, tending to everything from orchards and ponds to herbaceous borders, ensuring they remain vibrant and well-kept throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out regular garden and grounds maintenance at private and commercial properties.
- Care for orchards, ponds, lawns, and herbaceous borders to a high standard.
- Use and maintain horticultural tools and machinery safely and effectively.
- Ensure gardens are presented beautifully and kept to the client’s expectations.
About You:
- A genuine passion for horticulture, with strong plant knowledge.
- Proactive, with excellent attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of groundskeeping techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexible and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- A team player with the ability to work independently when required.
Requirements:
- A full UK driving licence (essential).
- Relevant horticultural experience or qualifications (desirable but not essential).
- Willingness to travel between client sites.
