WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- A person with a can-do attitude to join our small, friendly team packing our free range meat products.
- Experience in working in a food business for example in a cafe, in catering, on a hot or cold food counter, or as a cook, butcher, food preparation assistant or as a kitchen porter is required.
WHAT THE JOB INVOLVES
- The job holder must be able to neatly pack our products (e.g. sausages, burgers, mince, chicken) cleanly and hygienically using a vacuum packing machine, and label products using printed labels.
- The job holder must maintain a clean work station, and clear up and wash up all equipment and dishes at the end of their shift.
- The responsibilities of the job include cleaning equipment, cleaning cold stores, cleaning work areas, packing areas and customer areas.
- The role is physically active and includes lifting boxes of stock (up to 15kg) so requires a normal level of physical fitness.

EDUCATION
- GCSE or equivalent - Maths and English (required)
EXPERIENCE
- catering, kitchen, cafe, deli counter, food preparation or butchery experience: 1 year (required)
CERTIFICATES
- safe food handling certificate (preferred)
WORK AUTHORISATION
- Legal authorisation to work in the United Kingdom (required)
