Are you an experienced NVQ qualified Pipefitter interested in a new role. Positions available on a CIS or Staff basis (Salary package info can be given on request).
You will need to go through UK Security clearance so will need to meet the criteria to obtain this.
The Role
To competently perform pipe fitting, installations, handling, assembly, dismantling and other activities on equipment or within a Nuclear Licensed site.
Study & Training
- Review skill levels and update them as necessary to competently carry out the tasks required of a Technician. This will include:
- Basic Health & Safety [British Safety Council level 2 or IOSH managing safely]
- Lifting and Slinging qualification
- 5S Standards
Project Delivery and Operations Support
- Carry out tasks as required for specific projects including the assembly / installation / maintenance / operation and / or dismantling of
- general plant and equipment
- development / test rigs
- Complete and maintain as necessary all associated records and documentation
Internal Communication and Liaison
- Contribute to the development of business by internal referral and communication of appropriate information and intelligence
Person Specification
Qualifications
- Advanced apprenticeship / NVQ Level 3 or BTEC
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in a relevant mechanical engineering discipline
- Level 2 Health & Safety in the Workplace or equivalent - (Relevant Training will be provided)
Pay: £38.17 per hour
