Class 1 (HGV Cat C+E) Drivers – Immediate Starts Available
We are currently recruiting Class 1 (HGV Cat C+E) Drivers for a well-established and reputable client based in Wigan. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and motivated drivers seeking ongoing, long-term work with the potential for permanent positions.
The Role
- Driving Class 1 vehicles (curtain-sided or box trailers)
- Multi-drop deliveries and collections
- Use of pallet trucks with occasional handballing
Work Pattern
- Ongoing work with permanent opportunities available
- Flexible part-time and full-time patterns can be accommodated
Pay & Benefits
- £180 per shift (based on a 10-hour day)
- PAYE – paid directly (no umbrella companies)
- Work with a well-known and established company
Requirements
- Valid CAT C+E Licence
- CPC Card and Digital Tacho Card
- Minimum 1 year’s Class 1 experience
- Good communication skills
- Own transport or ability to travel to Wigan
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
- No DR or IN convictions (insurance restrictions apply)
