The Role
As a Level 3 Early Years Educator, you will play a key role in supporting children's learning and development, creating engaging learning experiences, and helping to maintain the high standards that make Puddleducks such a special place for children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
- Plan and implement stimulating activities that support children's development and interests.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Observe, assess and record children's progress and achievements.
- Act as a key person, supporting children's emotional wellbeing and development.
- Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming learning environment.
- Promote safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive and professional team.
What We're Looking For:
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above/equivilent)
- Previous experience working within an early years setting.
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, positive and professional attitude.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable
- Paediatric First Aid qualification.
- Experience as a key person.
- Knowledge of observation and assessment systems.
