Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join our team Full Time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial settings
- Maintain cleanliness of communal areas, Bedrooms, restrooms, and other designated spaces
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used efficiently and stored appropriately
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to organisational policies regarding hygiene standards and confidentiality
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and procedures is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable with a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service
