Location: Cardiff & Swansea, South Wales
Salary: Competitive, above National Minimum Wage, dependent on experience and qualifications.
Hours: 40-hour guaranteed contract with early morning starts. Flexibility is required, as work may be scheduled around favourable weather conditions and may include occasional weekend working.
Overtime: All hours worked in excess of 35 hours per week will be paid at 1.5x the employee’s standard hourly rate.
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Weed Spraying Operative to join our growing team. This is a predominantly outdoor role involving weed control and vegetation management across various sites throughout South Wales.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good work ethic and attention to detail
Desirable Skills & Experience
The following are preferred but not essential:
- PA1 & PA6 Knapsack Spraying Certification
- PA2 Boom Spraying Certification
- Towing experience
- Gritting operations
- Vegetation management
- Chainsaw operation
- Strimmer operation
- Lawn mower operation
