Key Information
- Weekend role- Saturday and/or Sunday required
- 3-30 hours per week
- Part time and permanent position.
- £18.00 - £25.00 ph depending on experience
- Year round position (not term time only)
- 12.07% holiday pay added to monthly salary
To teach our baby & pre-school programme you should have the following qualifications;
- STA Level 2 Baby & Pre School or Swim England Level 2 in Teaching Swimming to Babies & Toddlers
- Approved Lifesaving qualification
To teach our Swim Academy programme (4-10 years) you should have the following qualifications;
- STA Level 2 Award in Teaching Swimming or SEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming qualification
- Approved Lifesaving qualification
If you are not currently in the possession of the qualification we will still consider your application.
All our teachers carry out further in house training before they start teaching for Puddle Ducks, consisting of;
- 1-2 day in house training course
- Online training
- Co-teaching with an experienced teacher
- Training rate, £10-12.50 ph

- Minimum age to complete the baby & pre school qualification- 18 years
- Minimum age to complete the swim teacher qualification- 16 years
Responsibilities
- Instruct and supervise swimming lessons for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and children ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote water safety and swimming skills.
- Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their swimming abilities.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the swimming area and equipment.

Puddle Ducks South West London is a successful baby and child swim school set up in 2012. Our brilliant team of 20 swimming teachers, poolside assistants and office staff deliver quality, fun swimming classes to babies and children in private warm pools in and around London.
