Responsibilities
Support people in their own homes, and in community
This role includes personal care alongside enablement and could suit persons with care home / disability care experience .
- Provide support and assistance to individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
- Help individuals participate in community activities and social events
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for individuals under your care
- Document and report any changes in behaviour or health status to the appropriate supervisor
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of individuals
Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
- Empathy and compassion towards individuals with disabilities
Wages range from £13..45to £14.45 based on experience and package.
