ORAH Care provides safe, nurturing, and trauma-informed homes for children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs. Our solo-bedded home in Prescot, Knowsley allows us to deliver highly individualised care using a PACE-informed and therapeutic approach. Our mission is to create environments where young people feel secure, valued, and empowered to achieve positive outcomes.
Salary and Working Pattern £13 per hour
2 on / 4 off shift pattern (including sleep-ins)
£60 sleep-in allowance
About the Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will provide day-to-day care within a structured,
therapeutic and trauma-informed environment. You will help young people build
independence, develop life skills and feel safe within a consistent and nurturing home.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, child-centred care
- Use PACE and trauma-informed strategies to support young people and promote positive outcomes
- Promote emotional wellbeing
- Support routines, education and activities
- Maintain accurate and professional records
- Follow safeguarding procedures at all times
Requirements
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)
- Experience working with children or young people (desirable)
- Resilient, caring and patient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Full UK driving licence (desirable)

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new home at the beginning of its journey. ORAH Care Ltd is currently in the final stages of Ofsted registration. Start dates will be confirmed following regulatory approval.
