Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified Dental Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, provide excellent patient care, maintain a clean and safe clinical environment, and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments before procedures.
- Providing chairside support, for a wide range of treatments.
- Reassure and support patients before, during, and after treatment.
- Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection prevention and control guidelines.
- Ensure all clinical areas comply with health and safety, infection control, and safeguarding standards.
- Support the reception team with appointment scheduling and administrative tasks when required.
Essential Requirements
- Recognised Dental Nursing qualification.
- GDC Registered.
- Knowledge of cross-infection control and decontamination procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Working Conditions
- 25-30 hours (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday).
- Working every Saturday
