We are seeking a qualified lawyer with experience in regulatory law to join our UK Legal team at a pivotal time for the energy industry. As the UK accelerates towards its net zero ambitions, the demand for new energy infrastructure is growing at an unprecedented pace, bringing with it increasingly complex and high-profile regulatory challenges.
In this role, you will provide expert legal advice to National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET) on a broad range of strategically important regulatory matters, helping to shape and support the evolving regulatory framework that underpins the UK's energy transition.
Working closely with colleagues across the UK Legal, Regulatory and wider business teams, you will play a key role in enabling critical projects and business objectives. You will advise on a diverse portfolio of regulatory issues, translating complex legal matters into clear, practical guidance for stakeholders at all levels.
While previous energy sector experience is not essential, we are looking for someone with a genuine interest in the sector, a passion for supporting the UK's net zero journey, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
