We are looking for a Guest Experience Team Member to join our team at Blue Planet Aquarium!
Join the team at the Blue Planet Aquarium where we offer visitors the chance to experience a huge collection of fish, including one of Europe’s largest collection of sharks in a huge 3.8 million litre tank with one of the longest underwater viewing tunnels in the world!

Job Description
Create memorable guest experiences by anticipating customer needs, being engaging, attentive, and knowledgeable at all times through interactive talks, tours, demonstrations and education sessions.
Duties/ Responsibilities
- To provide exceptional levels of customer service at all times across all areas of the business
- To supply assistance and operate the Aquariums central booking system and email account, taking and processing bookings and payments.
- Operation of all front of house tills, responsible for processing till transactions efficiently and effectively
- Responsible for promoting public presentations / education sessions as well as conversing with our visitors whilst carrying out your daily duties around the aquarium
- Responsible for delivering educational tours and sessions to groups and schools whilst actively promoting our education product range
- Delivery of exciting, entertaining and educational birthday parties
- Undertake the position of ‘dive tender’ during dive experiences, presentations or tank maintenance
About you!
- Excellent customer service skills
- Enthusiastic and approachable with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Confident speaking in front of large groups and schools
- Till use and cash handling and cashing up experience is desirable
