Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team, specialising in preparing and maintaining Airbnb properties. The ideal candidate will ensure that each property is spotless, welcoming, and ready for guests, providing an excellent standard of cleanliness and hospitality. Previous experience in hotel or janitorial services is highly desirable, as is a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitise all areas of the Airbnb property, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish toiletries as required.
- Conduct detailed inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met before guest arrival.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, cleaning products, and amenities.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the management team promptly.
- Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Adhere to specific guest requests or special instructions provided by the property owner.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality services is preferred.
- Janitorial experience is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is beneficial.
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks between guest bookings.
